This introductory course explores the core workflow of the Roland TR-1000, focusing on rhythm programming, pattern creation, and understanding how sound is organized within the instrument. Participants will learn the essential relationship between patterns, kits, and instruments while developing practical skills in step sequencing and groove design.Through hands-on exercises, students will build rhythmic patterns using the TR-REC workflow while learning techniques that shape timing, feel, and musical variation.
